DALLAS (JANUARY 2006) – RYA Design Consultancy is pleased to announce that Tom Lloyd has joined RYA in the newly created position of Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development. In this role, Lloyd is responsible for and represents RYA's commitment to increasing and further developing the firm's Human Resources and Organizational Development functions. As an experienced Human Resource executive, his strategic focus is on a holistic approach implementing practices and principles based in Industrial/Organizational Psychology to promote all areas of professional and personal development, including recruiting, career planning, coaching, and team building of the entire RYA staff.

Before joining RYA, Lloyd held leadership positions for over 15 years in the healthcare industry, specializing in mental health and medical healthcare management focusing on program design and implementation. He has held positions as the Director of Adult & Geriatric Services and Corporate Consultant for Senior Health, Inc.; and Director of Adult and Geriatric Mental Health Services for Charter Haven Behavioral Healthcare.

Lloyd received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and Master of Science in Psychology from St. Francis University in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
