As RYA's Chief Financial Officer and a Partner of the firm, Chris plays a key role as a member of the Executive Management Team, which ensures the success of the firm's vision and future development through its leadership. Additionally, he oversees every aspect of the firm's business operations and administration including the information technology, human resources, and all administrative departments.

Chris joined RYA in 1993, bringing his consulting-based business experience to the business of retail design. As RYA's Chief Financial Officer, his operational responsibilities blend his skills in financial analysis and business administration, supporting RYA's project teams in their goal to provide the most productive and cost effective service possible to their clients. Chris leads the firm in the day-to-day operations and is closely involved in all projects from organizing teams to interacting with clients. He ensures RYA maintains the financial stability and resources necessary to deliver the highest quality design product in the industry.

Chris earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, and earned a MBA at the University of Texas at Arlington. He has over 15 years experience as a CPA. Prior to joining RYA, Chris worked with two CPA firms in the development of small to medium-sized companies, concentrating primarily on consulting in general accounting practices and tax.
